Sarah Gentes, PLMHP Therapist
You may be feeling stretched thin, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or distant from yourself and others. Anxiety might be weighing heavily, or life transitions may have left you feeling unsettled and unsure. Therapy can offer a steady space to slow down, reflect, and realign with what truly feels meaningful and grounding to you.
My name is Sarah, and I am provisionally licensed as a mental health practitioner. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2024) at the University of Nebraska Omaha. I have eight years of experience in the behavioral health field, with the last six in direct patient care.
I work with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in trauma-informed care. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, while also incorporating deeper, insight-oriented exploration. Together, we’ll identify patterns, strengthen practical coping skills, and foster meaningful healing, moving at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.
I see therapy as a supportive space where you can feel secure, respected, and authentically understood. I intend to walk alongside you as you deepen your self-awareness, build resilience, and nurture self-compassion so you can navigate life with greater clarity, confidence, and empowerment.
Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. If you’re interested in working together, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation below.
