TelehealthTherapy Services
We live in a different world than we did just a few years ago. Due to the pandemic, the way business was typically conducted shifted in many ways, and this includes in the mental health therapy space.
While some mental health practitioners conducted therapy sessions virtually prior to 2020, quarantines made it nearly impossible for in-person sessions to continue, and it may be safe to say that most mental health providers chose to go online and to provide therapy services via telehealth. Now that this convenient and flexible option is a part of how things are being done, it's unlikely that telehealth services for mental health treatment will be going away. It's here to stay, and that is good news for you as a client!
You Have Options
We offer both in-person sessions in our office as well as virtual therapy sessions through a HIPAA privacy compliant system. So, if you want to come into the office, please set up in-person sessions, but if you'd find it more fitting for your lifestyle and needs to have your sessions provided via online therapy, we understand and offer that option, too.
You might even decide that you'd like a hybrid model where you schedule to come into the office for some of your sessions and schedule to have some of your sessions through telehealth, online in the virtual space.
We've got your back!
Telehealth has been shown to be just as effective for treating most mental health conditions as in person sessions, so you get all of the benefits and virtually no drawbacks.
